Who are we?
WaterWise Geospatial is a small, highly talented team based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, and are passionate about geospatial and environmental science, water resource management, and the American West. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of geospatial science and its applications to water resources.
Our team brings experience in hydrology, geology, historical and modern orthophotography, LiDAR, and large-scale geospatial analysis from work on various federal and state programs. WaterWise was created to bring this technical capability into practical decision support for attorneys, consultants, and regulatory agencies working on real water problems.
What do we do?
WaterWise is a geospatial consulting practice focused on water rights and water resource questions in the American West. We use data collected from satellites, airplanes, drones, and field surveys to create a detailed understanding of water systems and landscape hydrology.
The field of remote sensing is rapidly evolving with cutting edge technologies and new data becoming available every year. Our goal is to keep water resource professionals at the forefront of these developments and ensure responsible stewardship of our most important natural resource.
